We are an association of gamers originating out of the east bay, tri-valley area with the agenda to promote a 6 on every die and paint on every model. The great majority of us are college attending, career aspiring, twenty-something year olds trying to survive in life. When not attempting that, we are doing what you see on this website. Features include a large collection of pictures of our past exploits, a forum to circulate information, and a download section full of original wargaming resources. Take a look around. ![]() Other sites by the Doomed Legion!
What
Our gaming club can be found engaging in all things related to games. Our most common activities are our regular meetings during which we play table-top miniature wargames. Our miniatures games are both army level and skirmish level, with a preference for the latter because they require less resources. The list of table-based games we play can be found at the bottom of this page. Roleplaying games are also a common activity of the club. Usually a campaign lasts for several sessions at a specified location. We regularly attend most game conventions within reasonable travel distance. Look for us, as we often volunteer to run events. We also host numerous LAN parties in Dublin, CA. We have, at minimum, two every year. We are also quite active in game development. Members of the DL have produced a number of original games which we are currently working on bringing online.Where
Our places of operation move about as we do, but you can find our activities in numerous
locations around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond:Dublin, California 94568. Hayward, California 94545. We could be in any one of these places, at any time. Gaming stores frequented by our club include Galaxy Games in Dublin, CA, and Ronin Games in Castro Valley, CA. When
The club meets whenever it can. The most common day for gaming is typically Friday evening. We
either meet at a local gaming store or at a member's house. A visit to the forum or an e-mail
will usually keep you in the loop of when our next event is happening. RPGs, when a campaign is
in progress, usually take place on Saturdays or Sundays. Our two big days for LAN parties are
New Year's Eve and DL-Day(August). Most events of each kind tend to run late into the
evening.The Official List of Games
